Quality
At Premier, quality counts, and it shows. Premier utilizes hot dipped galvannealed steel in its door fabrication process. Hot dipped galvannealed steel is far superior at resisting external elements than traditional cold rolled materials. Frames are available in galvannealed steel for exterior applications or cold-rolled steel for interior requirements. Our frames are brake formed to assure true, sharp radii and to minimize camber. All frames receive a modified alkyd primer utilizing a dip process to ensure complete coverage. We do this because the dip process significantly helps prevent rusting from the inside out –where it typically starts. Pre-finished metal bulding frames are fabricated from galvannealed steel and also receive an additional white or bronze top-coat providing another layer of protection. Door skins are roll formed and utilize a mechanical interlocking edge seam. Doors are galvannealed and treated with a factory applied wash primer and sealer prior to being painted. This process helps ensure proper paint adhesion.
We are a proud member of NAAMM (HMMA), the Door and Hardware Institute, and the Construction Specifications Institute. Our fire doors and frames have also been successfully tested with both U.L. and Warnock Hersey for some of the industry’s best fire and hurricane ratings. Premier's self-flashing windows have been tested and are designed specifically for metal building applications. R-panel, A-panel, and flat fins are provided to install in most panel applications.
